Bill the Plumber Satisfied Clients
We had a hot water heater failure ( you installed 4 years ago) Chad came out and after a thorough review concluded certain parts had failed. He identified the problem coordinated the shipment of replacement parts from the manufacturer under warranty and came back and made the repairs all in a 2 day time period. His initiative and attention to client service was simply outstanding. A few days later the new parts failed again, Chad worked with his manager from Bill The Plumber to work with the manufacturer who suggested they send another set of parts. We all concluded that trying the same parts again was not a good solution and advised the manufacturer that the unit should be replaced under warranty. The next day a new unit was delivered and installed. We have been with Bill the Plumber for a very long time and always have been pleased but on this occasion Chad and his managers went above and beyond to help us and it is much appreciated.
I’ve used Bill the plumber a couple of times now and am always so impressed with them. Starting with Marie’s friendly kindness at the office, to the speed of their response. Paul is extremely competent, quick, respectful, and kind. He was careful to double check that the issue was completely resolved. I will definitely continue to use this company in the future.
Eva, Tim and Bobby have been super in their performance and support over 20 years! Update 3-5-26 Sam visited us today .The problem was a connection problem, and the part was not one of theirs. He was extremely helpful and identifying the issue and having the supply company send us the part. I appreciated his thoroughness. Update 4-2-26. Sam completed the project today. After calling two corporate-owned companies for quotes on a water heater replacement, both estimates came back at over $3,000. I decided to call Bill’s Plumbing since it’s a locally owned business rather than a large corporation. Bill came out, gave us a much more reasonable quote, and installed the new water heater the same day, updating everything else that needed attention. I live on the second floor of a condo, and the corporate companies claimed it would cost $3,000+ because of that, which clearly wasn’t true. Bill completed the job for under $1,500. Bill’s Plumbing was quick, clean, and did an excellent job. Thank you, Bill’s Plumbing!
Just had a new water heater and whole-house water filtration system installed as our old one was not functioning well any longer. Chad is very knowledgeable and THOROUGH—once and abd Adam completed their work, they tested all faucets multiple times, tested water quality multiple times too, and even explained some helpful things that weren’t related directly with this particular job. So helpful!! Bill the Plumber has been a pleasure to work with, and we’ll be calling them again for any plumbing needs.

Their work and explanations for my multiple questions and their handling of two - maybe 3, non standard issues, all for the quoted price exceeded my expectations. We had a great experience using Bill the Plumber for a leak detection/correction. We were told by the gas company that we had a leak and to get it checked out before they would turn it on. Our technician, Steve, was prompt in his arrival and very knowledgeable and professional. He made sure to double test the pressure, go around checking every outlet and even showed us how to properly use the gas heater we recently had installed. Just above and beyond with an exceptionally knowledge base. Would highly recommend them after this visit.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They have done several jobs for me, all done professionally and at a reasonable cost. The only problem I had was the kitchen faucet installed was leaking. I found some water under the sink, but thought it was from my having let the sink overflow. I cleaned it up and forgot about it. A few weeks later, I noticed water again, and did some proper investigation, finding the leak. I called and explained it to them, and they had someone in my home within 2 hours! I commented on the quick response, and their attitude was that they guarantee their work and if it wasn't done correctly, they get it resolved immediately! All of the other work they have done was done correctly the first time. Mistakes and problems happen all the time with contractors; it's how the contractor takes care of the issue that really counts, and this company lives up to their promises!

I required an emergency plumbing repair, I had called 8 plumbers before I could get a timely response from anyone. "Bill the Plumer" answered my call (many "24/7 emergency" plumbers did not even answer the phone). They got me a tech out to my house within an hour. The tech who responded, Matt, was very pleasant and professional. He had a little trouble finding the leak, but when he did, he took immediate action. He also talked me through the repair. He explained a service contract, which I took advantage of. He completed the inspections on the service contract and walked me through a few potential future issues. Just having that knowledge made the service contract worth it. I will definitely upgrade the service contract as well as have Matt with "Bill the Plumber" assist me in tackling those potential issues in the near future.

We have used services of Bill the Plumber for years (spanning ownership of 3 different homes). We recommend them highly. Everything they have done for us - ever since 2012 with a variety of small plumbing tasks getting a house ready to put up for sale - to installing new toilets today (May 2022) has been quality workmanship with competent and professional skilled plumbers. When calling the office we have found service to be competent and helpful - they always know about the jobs, the schedule, have quotes ready if we have asked for pricing on planned projects. Russell came within 20 minutes of calling for emergency service for water pipe break I could not shut off. Great service and friendly guy and Eva in office was awesome too coordinating!
0800 hrs, Saturday, 10 July 2021, took dog out for her business, heard running water near water meter box and opened door and could tell something was broken. Checked Sarasota County web page for help... nada. Googled Sarasota Plumbers, saw one I used in the past and would never use again, the next one didn't mention the type of service I needed, then saw Bill The Plumber, Inc. and he was my choice. Called the emergency number, went through the prompts and the on-call tech was Bob. Bob said he would arrive in 30 minutes and he did. Bob assessed the water line and meter and fortunately found a cracked elbow caused by a tree root. After explaining the fees, shutting off the main, then digging out the box and removing the remaining water, cutting the root and replacing the joint, etc.allowing the glue to set, all was good. Bob is friendly, personable, professional and made a lasting impression on me. As a result of this encounter, the relatively quick repair and Bob's skills, Bill The Plumber, Inc. is my go to plumbing service. The final cost was less than I anticipated. Thank you Bob for everything and introducing me to the Valued Customer Protection Plan.

Unfortunately I’ve developed a habit of snapping valves and flooding my house. Today was the second time Bill the Plumber bailed me out of an emergency flood . George arrived , earlier than expected, fixed my problem quickly and for a very fair price. Next time I have another mishap or any plumbing need, I will be calling these guys right away .

Bobby came to our house on a Sunday night due to a septic back-up and he was very professional and informative. He did what he could and said he’d return Monday with a co-worker. Bill the plumber came to my house to install a new sink in the bathroom. Since the new sink was a different shape from the old sink we should have bought a sink that would fit. Like most non plumbers we had no idea that what we bought would not fit. Tim from Bill the plumber said..."This sink will not work". He could have said go get a sink that will fit and left. Instead he went to his laptop and researched sinks till he found one that would work. After asking us if we liked the one he found, he ordered it for us and came back to install it. The job was very difficult and took lots of talent to install it properly. The job came out beautifully. Many thanks to Tim of Bill The Plumber for a great job. Called Bill the plumber and spoke with Eva, she was great, pleasant and helpful. I needed a copper pipe repaired that was exposed in the floor. Quoted 320 to do a few min job. Without water I reluctantly agreed. Appeared to only be interested in the money even asking for a tip which I foolishly complied. The reason for 3 stars is that at least the job was done after needing to request and insure each step was actually done and the very good experience with the dispatcher.

I called Bill the Plumber on a Sunday short notice. JJ, our technician, was at our house within an hour. He quoted us a fair price to clean our clogged pipes. Even though it seemed like it was more work than expected they did not increase the price one bit. He also fixed a toilet that wasn't flushing correctly and a shower that had low water pressure. when I offered to pay extra for that service he told me that it was all included. It looks like we found our new plumber. Very professional! Highly recommend.

We've used them for a while now. Different small things that I couldn't do myself. Recently we had them out. There was a cartridge in a single handle control for the shower that went kaput. I was really happy that they were able to get to it. Then get a new one in. I was happy with the bill as well. It may have been a little high. But I was so relieved it wasn't more work and money. That I felt honestly fortunate to pay their fee. The guy know how to make it happen. And that's worth a lot when I've gone as far as I can and need help.

Today Paul and Nick came to my house to clear a drain I have been having root problems for quite some time. I had never met them and he started by telling me they couldn't do the job that has always been done and explained why. I was very skeptical at first. He asked me to let him take a look outside to see if he could find the cleanout. I told him no plumber in 8 years had ever been successful before. I was surprised when he came back in and told me they had done so. He came back in and explained an easier and more effective way to fix the issue once and for all. They were extremely courteous and professional and it made me remember why I loved Bill The Plumber so much and why I will continue to recommend and use them in the future. I can't tell you what a relief it is to have this problem fixed and at much less cost. I don't normally write letters like this but when a job is done this well it deserves to be recognized

Matt was awesome. Not only friendly with my dog, but got to the root of the problem immediately and literally. Had a root ball blocking my toilet drain and he cleared it in no time. I’m sure it wasn’t a fun task for him, but he got it done with a smile on his face. Great service.

Tim was a genius. My pigs knock my water spigot off the exterior wall of my house, and Tim raised the spigot so my pigs will never be able to do it again. This is the third time I’ve called them with plumbing problems, they do fantastic work and have good prices.

Bobby in Sarasota was the plumber who handled issues this week at property I rent. He did an outstanding job diagnosing the problems and resolving them timely and efficiently. He had previously taken care of another issue a few months ago and had also done an outstanding job that time. He is very professional and efficient.

Above and beyond customer service
From speaking to Jan and Eva to Tim cutting my PVC into numerous 4 inch pieces they went above and beyond excellent customer service. I am making a toy car garage for my three-year-old grandson. It is made out of a wooden crate and PVC. I did not realize how difficult it is to cut PVC with a hacksaw. I knew a plumber service would have an electric saw. Bill the plumber company graciously told me they could do this for me at no charge. I brought Tim his favorite pie coconut cream pie. I cannot express in words my gratitude for their very kind help. This company is great! They are at the house when they say they are going to be. Today Matt and Russell replaced the underground cast iron. Both guys were very friendly! Matt is young, but he blew me away with his knowledge. Fixed the problem super fast and efficiently. They didn’t leave any mess behind. We called about a leak thought to be coming from the dishwasher. Turned out to be much more complicated-cracks in the cast iron and copper pipes in the wall behind the kitchen cabinets. Bobby and Russell tackled this by cutting through the drywall behind the sink drains and then cutting out the cast iron and copper lines and installing new PVC parts. They ran water in the sink to test the repairs. They were very efficient, professional, and polite and explained all the steps taken as they did the repair. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend Bobby and Russell.

Our hot water heater starting leaking on Saturday during the thanksgiving weekend. We had used bill the plumber before and was very satisfied with their work. It was 9:30 am and we called and pressed # 1 for emergency service and was answered by the 3rd ring. George the technician on call informed us that he would be there in 45 minutes to an 1 hour. He arrived early and sized the situation and said he could have the water heater installed as soon as he could get it from their warehouse. He was very courteous and informative. Before 12 noon he had the heater installed and ready to go. The service and speed it was performed was amazing. We were expecting to have to be without hot water until the following week. Hats off to the company and George for being so expedient.

Scheduled annual backflow testing with Eva, and was given a 2 hour window for technician to arrive – NOT the 5 hour window that my air conditioning service company gave me. Matt, the technician who came to do the work was extremely knowledgeable and even checked my tub drainage (I thought it was a bit slow draining). No problem with it though. Today I had a problem with a sewer line and needed a jet wash and repair. Bobby and Russ were dispatched to fix the problem. They were friendly and professional, efficient and clean. Bobby & Chad arrived on time to give me an estimate for replacing my non working 72 gallon gas hot water heater. Within a few minutes Bobby had the unit working. It still needs to have thermostat replaced but I now have hot water. Previous service calls were not able to get the unit working. Bobby provided me with an estimate which I consider too high but I was very impressed with Bobby getting my old water heater working (for now).

I called to schedule appt to remedy back-up in kitchen sink/disposal. The technician Bobby arrived at scheduled time. He was very courteous and professional. Diagnosed the problem and gave me options. I checked my home warranty plan, which I should have done before I called Bill, and discovered that my home warranty should cover the cost to remove the blockage. I apologized to Bobby for not checking first. He was very understanding . I could not have been more pleased with the service and will use this company in the future. We have used them for several years now and tonight I was reminded why — service is excellent. Thank you, Bobby.

Above and beyond customer service
From speaking to Jan and Eva to Tim cutting my PVC into numerous 4 inch pieces they went above and beyond excellent customer service. I am making a toy car garage for my three-year-old grandson. It is made out of a wooden crate and PVC. I did not realize how difficult it is to cut PVC with a hacksaw. I knew a plumber service would have an electric saw. Bill the plumber company graciously told me they could do this for me at no charge. I brought Tim his favorite pie coconut cream pie. I cannot express in words my gratitude for their very kind help. I would highly recommend them for all services.

Bobby from Bill the Plumber came out today and fixed a bathroom faucet we thought we were going to have to replace, saving us a lot of money on that. And he replaced the kitchen faucet which we knew had to replace saving us money on a very good faucet with a five year warranty. He had it on his truck, so there was no waiting and was basically in and out of here in an hour. Thanks Bobby!

This company is great! They are at the house when they say they are going to be. Today Matt and Russell replaced the underground cast iron. Both guys were very friendly! Matt is young, but he blew me away with his knowledge. Fixed the problem super fast and efficiently. They didn’t leave any mess behind. I am super impressed with this company and would definitely use them again if the need ever arises!

We called about a leak thought to be coming from the dishwasher. Turned out to be much more complicated-cracks in the cast iron and copper pipes in the wall behind the kitchen cabinets. Bobby and Russell tackled this by cutting through the drywall behind the sink drains and then cutting out the cast iron and copper lines and installing new PVC parts. They ran water in the sink to test the repairs. They were very efficient, professional, and polite and explained all the steps taken as they did the repair. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend Bobby and Russell.

Our hot water heater starting leaking on Saturday during the thanksgiving weekend. We had used bill the plumber before and was very satisfied with their work. It was 9:30 am and we called and pressed # 1 for emergency service and was answered by the 3rd ring. George the technician on call informed us that he would be there in 45 minutes to an 1 hour. He arrived early and sized the situation and said he could have the water heater installed as soon as he could get it from their warehouse. He was very courteous and informative. Before 12 noon he had the heater installed and ready to go. The service and speed it was performed was amazing. We were expecting to have to be without hot water until the following week. Hats off to the company and George for being so expedient.

Bobby and Russell were very professional (they introduced themselves first thing) and efficient in diagnosing the problem with my tankless water heater. I was impressed with the fast response of the technician on a Saturday emergency. I manage a motel and needed a stoppage removed before the next guest checked in. Matt was very knowledgeable. I know all the plumbing lines and between the two of us he was up and running in minutes. I recommend Matt because he knows his job and what he is doing. Office staff got a plumbing expert to me on a same day basis for an emergency water heater leak. Bobby quickly sized up the situation, picked up a replacement water heater, and installed it before the end of the day. Scheduled annual backflow testing with Eva, and was given a 2 hour window for technician to arrive – NOT the 5 hour window that my air conditioning service company gave me. Matt, the technician who came to do the work was extremely knowledgeable and even checked my tub drainage (I thought it was a bit slow draining). No problem with it though. I have been with Bill the Plumber since 2010 and I have been very satisfied with their work. The young man that came out today was very personable , upfront, and efficient. Today I had a problem with a sewer line and needed a jet wash and repair. Bobby and Russ were dispatched to fix the problem. They were friendly and professional, efficient and clean. The problem was gone in a timely fashion and my anxiety level went way down. Bobby spotted a possible future problem and gave me a couple of alternatives to think about if I decide to be proactive and rest easier in the future. I was very happy with their service and will recommend them to my friends and family for any plumbing needs that they may encounter.

Bobby came to our house on a Sunday night due to a septic back-up and he was very professional and informative. He did what he could and said he?d return Monday with a co-worker. Bobby & Chad arrived on time to give me an estimate for replacing my non working 72 gallon gas hot water heater. Within a few minutes Bobby had the unit working. It still needs to have thermostat replaced but I now have hot water. Previous service calls were not able to get the unit working. Bobby provided me with an estimate which I consider too high but I was very impressed with Bobby getting my old water heater working (for now).
Wonderful Experience
We are tremendously satisfied with the service and responsiveness of Bill the Plumber. George was prompt, knowable and efficient as he installed our new Garbage Disposal. He also made suggestions to reduce our energy usage, telling us to close off the water and turn off the circuit breaker to the water heater when we go away, as so many snow birds do. This company stands by its work. When I needed a new garbage disposal George came out and took care of it. When there was a problem with the unit itself, he came right back and solved my problem. I was impressed with the efficiency and friendly manner.
